Job Highlights and Responsibilities
- Organizes both expert and unskilled people working on construction and remodeling projects under general supervision.
- coordinates all project-related tasks and/or carries them out.
- Conducts on-site inspections.
- oversees the completion of construction projects in accordance with the plans and specifications.
- Interprets design drawings and may make quantity or volume estimations for required components.
- Maintains property insurance register.
- Carries out all project-related tasks, including site engineering, grading, building layout, plumbing, and electrical.
- Carries out research and puts together reports, studies, and recommendations for assignments.
- Examines shop drawings and creates contract documentation.
- Examines the project’s plans and requirements. oversees building, renovation, and repair projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master Plumber Class II, unrestricted, license issued by the Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board.
Notes/ Comments:
– Candidate will serve as the Regional Plumber for the North Region.
– This position requires travel across the North Region.
– Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to the North Georgia area.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a similar field from a college or university with accreditation OR an Associate’s, Vocational, or Technical degree in a related field from a college or university with accreditation.
Either a high school diploma or the GED OR one year of maintenance or general building construction experience AND two years of maintenance or general building construction expertise OR an equivalent position at the lower level Construction Spec 1 (FEP050) or one year of experience.
